Sex & Nudity
Sex & Nudity Reason
The actual rape scenes mentioned are not too graphic, but it is mentioned and there is no doubt what happens Dead women are seen topless or nude after being murdered and possibly raped. Two scenes of attempted rape, one with breast nudity. A dead woman's breasts are fondled. A man attempts to seduce a teenage boy by placing his hand on the boy's thigh; the boy reacts by punching him in the face, then fleeing. A woman is raped. Another man discovers it as it's happening, and attacks the rapist.

Violence & Gore
Violence & Gore Reason
The finale is the most intense part, there it gets brutal and gruesome, even though it's quite tastefully done concerning what it's all about. Until that, the violence really isn't much to talk about, (maybe it was in 1986) apart from some scenes. Regardless, it's mean, nasty, ugly. It's so far away from typical Hollywood-violence you could ever come. Not a gore-fest but violent. The amount of blood is limited. The opening scenes show various bodies killed in different ways - shot, strangled, cut, etc. A man is tackled and punched several times before being stabbed; the man who punched him smashes a fax machine on the man's head and tells another to plug it in; the other man complies and steam and sparks spit out of the machine. A man is shot multiple times (some blood). Two prostitutes are killed by strangulation and breaking of the neck. A man is punched in the face as he attempts to seduce a teenage boy. (See Sex & Nudity) A woman is stripped and has her neck broken, a man has a bag placed over his head and is kicked twice, then stabbed to death (offscreen), a child (about 12 years old) has his neck broken after struggling with a man. In the finale, two men fight, one breaks a beer bottle against the other's head, in retaliation, a woman stabs the attacker in the eye with a comb, which happens so fast that if you blink, you'll miss it. It is still graphic though. Then he gets stabbed in the gut by the man who was hit. We later see the man's body getting cut up with a hacksaw; the head being detached from the body is shown on-screen and placed into a bag. This is the only gory scene in the entire film.

The kills aren't that gory but very realistic and could be disturbing to younger viewers.
