Sex & Nudity
Sex & Nudity Reason
Some lewd dancing, cleavage and sexual implications, but all mild. Miss Hannigan acts very lascivious around Mr Warbucks. Females (both kids and adults) have their underwear or shorts shown if they jump or dance in a way that makes their skirts go up.

Violence & Gore
Violence & Gore Reason
Miss Hannigan threatens to send a dog to a sausage factory. Annie punches some boys. A girl hits another girl in the face with a mop. Miss Hannigan threatens the orphans with words such as "If this floor don't shine like the top of the Chrysler Building, your backsides will". She is verbally abusive toward them in many scenes. Miss Hannigan tries to restrain Rooster when he pursues Annie, but he punches her in the face knocking her out. Rooster's attempt to kill Annie is foiled by Punjab, who kicks him causing him to slide backwards. He lands in a trampoline and is then decked by Miss Hannigan on the head with her handbag. The Jewish man tries to blow up Daddy Warbucks' mansion with a bomb. In one scene, a burglar throws a bomb into a mansion but someone throws it back outside and it explodes. Annie is kidnapped and put in a car by Rooster, Lily and Ms. Hannigan. She is chased up a railroad bridge, and Rooster hangs her by her hands off the railing once she gets to the top. She is very upset, crying, and yelling for help. At one point, Miss Hannigan says, "He's really gonna kill her!" Punjab saves Annie and kicks Rooster off the bridge, where he lands in a fireman's net.

Profanity Reason
1 use of reprobate. 1 use of Christ Not swearing, but some might be bothered by the Jewish man or the Indian, or the Japanese man's dance solo having the "Oriental riff" melody. 2 uses of damn and goddamn each.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking Reason
Some brief tobacco smoking. There is drinking and smoking throught the movie. Miss Hannigan is drunk in some scenes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes
Frightening & Intense Scenes Reason
Miss Hannigan is very cruel and abusive to the orphans she threatens them with phrases like " If this floor don't shine like the top of the Chrysler Building your backsides will" these scenes can be triggering to abuse survivors. Some of the orphanage scenes can be triggering to those who grew up in foster care or were orphans. Rated PG for some mild language and for drinking and smoking.
