As her marriage to decorated war hero Oliver draws near, well-heeled Diana moves into an apartment within an otherwise unoccupied, sprawling London house where she starts to experience strange and terrifying nightmares. DREAM DEMON is a supernatural horror film, from 1988, in which a woman dreams about demons who turn out to be real. Violence: A woman slaps a man's face and his head flies off, a man's ear is torn off, and a woman's fist emerges through the back of a man's head after she punches him in the face. The scenes are accompanied by bloodspurts and injury detail, but occur within a fantasy context. In one scene, a man accidentally sets himself on fire. Threat and horror: There are several prolonged scenes in which people are threatened by monsters. There is domestic abuse in scenes in which a man stalks his daughter before tying her up. Nudity: In one scene, a naked woman with her breasts exposed lies next to a man in bed.
