Sex & Nudity
Sex & Nudity Reason
there is one scene where a Donatello makes a joke about Casey being claustrophobic and Casey thinks he is making a gay joke, but it is played so quickly, blink and you'll miss it. Light Sexual tension between two characters leads to them making out at the end of the movie and the turtles cheering them on.

Violence & Gore
Violence & Gore Reason
The kind of violence you would expect from a martial arts movie. The shredder is very intimidating. Could frighten younger audiences The end fight is intense and may upset younger viewers The fight in April's apartment is very intense. A fire starts in the apartment. Splinter is captured by the foot Splinter is hanged by his arms The shredder punches splinter in the face multiple times (splinter gets some scars. Very upsetting) Splinters owner is killed A man beats up a teenager, but the boy lives. Shreddar dies in the end, and Shreddar fell to his death, and Shreddar was crushed by a Garage scoop. Rapheal is jumped and beaten up on the rooftop of April's apartment leading to being tossed through a skylight and being put in a coma for a portion of the film. He wakes up ok later but the fight itself is very intense and the uncertainty of his recovery could be scary for young viewers. The shredder's death could upset some people, the shredder falls off a building, falls into a garbage compacter, Casey pushes the compact button, the shredder gets crushed (not graphic but unsettling)

Profanity Reason
Several lights profanities throughout including the infamous "DAMN!" Scene where Ralph loses his sai. a few scenes where characters put down/diss each other by calling each other schoolyard style names. (Sissy, freak, idiot etc) One use of the word Bitchin, but again so quick you'll miss it. inappropriate uses of God and hell.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking Reason
two scenes that show teen drinking, smoking, gambling and fighting. A man tells two kids that whatever they want to do, they can do it. They then ask for cigarettes. This scene is very reminiscent of Pleasure Island from Pinocchio

Frightening & Intense Scenes
Frightening & Intense Scenes Reason
Despite it's PG rating it's a bit more dark, violent, and profane than you may expect, unlike the TV show this film takes itself seriously at times. Some Emotional Scenes The end battle is very intense All the fight scenes can be very intense to some viewers The word "spaz" is used a couple of times, may offend some people The story of splinters past is very upsetting A fire starts in an apartment The shredder's death is unsettling Splinter takes some abuse from the shredder, may upset viewers the Shredder may be intimidating for smaller children
