Beverly Hills Cop II Parent guide

Sex & Nudity
Sex & Nudity Reason
There is a scene at Playboy Mansion in which many women in revealing bathing suits are seen. No nudity, but very provocative. Axel references 'being blown' in one scene. In another scene, he talks to his penis, though this is more comedic than anything else. Axel is briefly seen in his underwear at the beginning. Axel stares at Karla's butt, and offers to shave her legs for her. An scene of a pole dancer doing a brief but intense dance topless. Several shots of womens breasts are seen at a strip-club scene. The scene goes on for several minutes, and cuts intermittently between glimpses of nudity and the club.

Violence & Gore
Violence & Gore Reason
Axel punches out a bad guy during the final battle sequence. There is a large-scale shootout at the end, and several bad guys are shot and killed, not graphically, with little blood. Two trucks explode, one contains several bad guys, and their deaths are implied. There's an extended chase scene in which Axel and Rosewood commandeer a cement truck. They crash into some other cars along the way, but no one is injured. Axel shoots a bad guy in the head, and the car that the bad guy is driving crashes. Not too graphic, and no blood is shown. There is a jewelry store robbery at the beginning in which shots are fired, but no one is hurt. Some bad guys shoot at Axel, Rosewoood, and Taggart outside of a strip club, and a small shootout occurs. The car that the bad guys are driving crashes, but they get away, and no is injured during this whole scene. One character is shot in the head at point-blank range by another character, and blood can be seen on the wall behind the victim after he dies. Lots of shooting, a few explosions, and a destruction take place during this film. Around 8 people are seen being killed in total, two of which are clearly seen being shot through the head. A truck with an unknown number of bad guys inside also blows up. Not a large number of deaths overall, and the action is not incredibly graphic or brutal at all. Bogomil is shot twice, point-blank, blood sprays. He survives

Profanity Reason
37 uses of 'f**k', 39 uses of 'shit' (9 used as 'bullshit'), 30 uses of 'hell', 25 uses 'damn' (22 are paired with "God"), 21 uses of 'ass' (1 used as 'asshole'), 7 uses of 'bitch' (2 used as 'son of a bitch'), 6 uses of 'dick', 3 uses of 'tit', 3 uses of 'Jesus,' 3 uses of 'Jesus Christ', 1 use of 'Christ', 1 use of 'bastard', and and 1 use of 'screw'. Less profanity than the first film.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking Reason
Several scenes of smoking Some drinking is seen at a party. A scene near the beginning takes place in a bar. Axel is seen drinking while in a pool. No drug use at all. Occasional drinking and smoking, nothing that bad.

Frightening & Intense Scenes
Frightening & Intense Scenes Reason
The truck chase is mildly intense but mostly meant to be funny. The attempted assassination of Bogomil is intense. Axel is nearly run over during the final confrontation. The second robbery scene is violent and intense. The bar scene, though funny, is tense. The opening robbery scene is fairly intense. A guy gets shot twice and doctors aren't sure if he'll pull through. A lady related to the guy is quite upset and very worried. Lots of prolonged action violence and arguing (although some especially the arguing is meant to be funny). The shootout outside the strip club is intense and sudden. There's an intense final battle, and several bad guys are shot dead. It's not overly frightening or intense though, and most could probably handle it.
