In the Whatever-Happened-To Epilogue, the narrator mentions that Markie (Mark Morales) had become a sex therapist in private practice, despite not actually getting the proper education.

His dog earlier attacks three orderlies dogs. Later at the funeral and after wards, the orderlies act in glee that the dog is dead.
