BBFC Ratings info
BRUCE CAMPELL VS ARMY OF DARKNESS is a comedy horror sequel about a man called Ash who is transported to the future and is forced to destroy an army of skeletons before he can return home. Violence: There is a scene of sexual violence when a man grabs a woman, rolls a finger down her chin and bares her breast. The woman then spits in the man's face, but he rips her dress, revealing brief sight of breast nudity, before she continues to struggle against him. There are scenes of strong violence, including sight of a zombie being impaled on a spike, though this is without any bloody detail, and also a scene in which it is implied that a zombie has been cut with a chainsaw after a blood spurt is briefly visible and the creatures decapitated hand is seen flying into a crowd. Language: There are uses of strong language ('f**k).

Sex & Nudity
mild
Sex & Nudity Reason
In the director's cut version Ash and Sheila have sex. She is naked and in top of him. The lighting is very dark so no visible nudity or movement, moaning is heard. He begins to kiss her breasts while she is moaning and it cuts. This is brief. The theatrical cut does not have any sex or nudity. A woman has her top ripped off is forced to kiss an undead character with a skinless face. No nudity is shown besides her back.

Violence & Gore
moderate
Violence & Gore Reason
Skeletons attack a castle, and are chopped down by knights. A man is pushed into a pit, and a fountain of blood sprays out. A graveyard comes alive and many skeleton hands assault a man walking above. Ash is trapped inside the pit with a deadite he gets beaten up by it a bit. Non-graphic. As a man is on the ground, skeleton hands come out and grab his legs and he falls. They then grab his face and punch him. Meant to be humorous. Ash shoots a witch with a shotgun, there's no blood. A man gets a cut down his cheek, little blood.

Profanity
mild
Profanity Reason
The F-word is used once or twice. "Hell," "ass" and "damn" are used frequently.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
none
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking Reason
None.

Frightening & Intense Scenes
mild
Frightening & Intense Scenes Reason
A lot of frightening and creepy close-ups of faces, but not as horrific as the first. Far less horrific than the first two films. It's almost entirely comedic. An object that is never shown follows Ash through the woods. A witch pretends to be dead. Suddenly, she wakes up surprisingly. This may be a jump scare.
